Val d’Isère funicular

The Funival begins in La Daille and after a few hundred meters enters in a tunnel from which it emerges behind the Bellevarde rock. The Funival uses 2 trains linked by cables on a single track. At the middle of its path, a short double-track section allows the crossing of the vehicles.

The single track starts in La Daille where the funicular travels on an elevated track over 580 m. The remaining 1720 m are traveled through a tunnel drilled through the mountain.
